200 challenge

BLOG POST:

  • Explain the physical activity you participated in.
The physical activity we participated in today was basically a fitness but a lot of us were playing. So what we all did was got into a group but only two people in a group, so what we had to do was verse and we had to do 200 sit ups, 200 squats and also 20 laps of running up and down. But the plan we could do was if you get tired you can tag your partner thats in your group and he will carry it on until he/she gets tired then just keep doing the same thing around.
  • What level of effort and engagement were you participating at during today’s physical activity? Why? (Grade yourself NA, A or M and refer to marking criteria)
M - I think merit because when we participate I always go forward and always try and do my best. also when we go to challenge others I love to do my best.

M - I think merit because when we play I will always try and get to that point when I try and work hard and also going towards the goal that is meant to be passed.

A - I think achieve because every time we play, and after that when we are done I like to reflect on my own performance to keep me on track of what I need to work on next time.

  • What were three factors which influenced your participation? (Choose from the list below, and put a + or - beside the three factors to show whether it positively or negatively influenced your participation).
Wellbeing - My wellbeing influenced me by making me play for a long time because I was feeling really awesome, also it made me have a lot of fun as I was participate. My participation went up because as I was playing I was really enjoying it because of my wellbeing.

Classmates - My classmates influenced me by making me encouraging myself by just listing to my classmates helping me out. My participation went up because my classmates were really been good to me also they made me keep on going forward even do the activity was really tiring.

Fitness - My fitness influenced me by challenging myself also making me run and help others that are in my team. My participation went up because my fitness was really helping also that made me help others in my team.

  • Explain HOW these factors affected your participation (with specific examples)
These factors affected my participation by making me have fun and enjoy the activity, also it made me think that I can do better next or maybe then.

  • How could you increase your (or your peers) participation in this activity in the future?
I can increase this activity in the future by asking my mate in class that did not want to play to play, and if he/she does not want to play and refuses then I will ask if he/she wants to add in their suggestions into the activity which will maybe make them want to play.

Projectile Motion

What is projectile motion?

A projectile motion is a form of motion which an object is thrown in the air just like as if it was a basketball game.

What are the three parts of PM?
  1. Angle of release - optimal AoR can vary, but in theory is 45 degrees.
  2. Height of release - The greater of the height of release, the greater the distances.
  3. Speed of release - The greater the speed, the greater the height and distances.

Explain the activity this morning related to projectile motion.

What we did to show projectile motion was we planted hula hoops around the class and got rubber bands, and we used paper for an object. So what we did was we flicked the paper with the rubber band and made it go in the air just like projectile motion but with paper and rubber band.

Levers

Levers (1, 2, 3)
1. Explain levers in a sport.
When you go to play a sport like basketball it is a good example because it is similar to the third class lever, which is your shoulder is the fulcrum and your muscles is the effort and basketball is the load.

2. Explain levers the activity we did today.
What we did today was we were given a task about the first, second and the third lever are used. What we today in class was we had to cut out shapes  of the lever and placed them on the piece of paper to explain what they do. After that we had to explain what the levers did.
